Frequently asked questions

Is my data private?

Yes. Dawnli is offline-first. Your mood entries are stored only on your device. There is no account, no server, and no tracking. We never see your data. For more details, read our Privacy Policy.

What do I get with Premium?

Premium unlocks unlimited history, all 6 themes and 5 fonts, up to 20 custom tags, unlimited notes, 30D/90D/1Y charts, Year in Pixels, mood insights, up to 5 daily reminders, full calendar access, CSV export, and cloud backup.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your device:

  • iPhone / iPad: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Dawnli → Cancel Subscription
  • Android: Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Dawnli → Cancel

Cancelling stops future charges. You keep Premium access until the end of your current billing period.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google, not by Dawnli directly:

  • Apple: Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
  • Google: Open Google Play → Account → Order history → find the purchase → Request a refund

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

Open Dawnli → tap the paywall (any locked feature or upgrade prompt) → tap Restore purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account you used for the original purchase.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Premium users can export all entries as a CSV file from the Profile tab. Your data is yours.

Does Dawnli work offline?

Yes. All core features work without an internet connection. An internet connection is only needed for purchasing Premium, restoring purchases, and cloud backup.

What happens to my data if I uninstall the app?

Because Dawnli stores data on your device, uninstalling the app will delete your entries unless you have a cloud backup (Premium feature). We recommend backing up before uninstalling.
